Art Walk Artists' Showcase - "Masquerade"

You're invited to join us and meet the artists:

"Masquerade" is the theme for this month's Art Walk artists' showcase at the Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT+ Visitor Center and various locations on Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors, in conjunction with WMEG - Wilton Manors Entertainment Group.

Social distancing and masks will be mandatory for the event in our COVID-conscious community.

Diversity Exhibit:

Claudia Castillo is a local artist and owner of Claudia Castillo ART studio on Wilton Drive. Claudia’s exhibit at the Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center is called  ‘D I V E R S I T Y’.  Claudia’s inspiration comes from the emotions evoked from nature, earth, and water. One should learn from the diversity of nature, its constant adaptability, and the greatness of the oceans. “I draw upon the emotions and feelings I perceive in the world to create my own sense of realism which is a transformative abstraction reflecting the unique reality of continual change,” Claudia Castillo.

Steven Shires's Exhibit:

Photographer Steven Shires is presenting a mixed bag of eclectic images, from nature to abstract art. For Steven, it is important for him to capture and preserve a small moment of time for others to witness and enjoy.  Whether it be a headshot, a gathering of friends, a milestone in people’s lives, or something that simply catches his attention -- that image is frozen in time.

Many other exhibits will be on display at various locations on Wilton Drive
