World AIDS Museum Film Discussion Series: Buddies (1985)

Join the World AIDS Museum for this month's Film Discussion Series featuring short clips of the 1985 film Buddies. The film follows a gay man in New York City who becomes a buddy, or volunteer friend, to another gay man who is dying of AIDS, focusing on the friendship that develops. Several clips will be played and followed by an audience discussion on the ideas and implications of the scenes and the film’s impact. Audience members do not need to have seen the film beforehand to participate in the discussion.
