Recent policy changes & blatant abuses of power have created real challenges for Florida’s LGBTQ community — but thanks to your support, Equality Florida continues to make meaningful progress through our critical programs and outreach. From expanding our Safe and Healthy Schools program to growing Parenting with Pride, we are ensuring that families, students, educators, and all Floridians across our state feel supported, affirmed, and safe—and that we defend against the shameless theft of our hard-won rights.

If you have not already done so, please consider sponsoring Equality Florida’s 2025 Broward Gala, our annual benefit event for LGBTQ equality. Despite all odds, we scored significant wins throughout most of 2024 and again in 2025 — in Tallahassee, in Broward, in the courtroom, and everywhere in between. But we could not have achieved those wins without major support!
 
 

Our 2025 Broward Gala will take place at the Westin Convention Center on Fort Lauderdale Beach on Saturday, November 15. This inspiring event will feature an exquisite plated dinner, a full bar, an awards program honoring a local hero, powerful messages from our executive leadership, and, as always...plenty of entertainment throughout.

 

Your support is crucial as we continue our mission to secure full equality for all LGBTQ Floridians. Your sponsorship will both demonstrate your commitment to equality and provide vital support for our ongoing programs and initiatives. Our 2025 fundraising goal of $1,000,000 will empower us to continue our incredible momentum in defending LGBTQ Floridians.
