Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Board Members, Honors Dedicated Leade

Fort Lauderdale, FL – June 26, 2025 – The Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber of Commerce (GFLGLCC) is proud to announce the appointment of three accomplished professionals to its Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2025. These new members bring diverse expertise, passion, and commitment to advancing the mission of the Chamber and fostering a thriving, inclusive business community.
 
New Board Members:
 
Wayne Jarvis, Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home and Cremation Center 
  Wayne has dedicated his career to compassionate community care, serving families and supporting diverse communities during sensitive times. His leadership and values closely align with the Chamber’s commitment to advocacy and inclusion.
 
James Mack, Journey Payroll & HR Fort Lauderdale 
  James is recognized for making the business world accessible and inclusive for all. Through innovative payroll and HR solutions, he helps local businesses succeed and champions opportunities for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs.
 
Raymond Seah, Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale/Plantation 
  Raymond’s role at Hyatt Place exemplifies service and hospitality, fostering a culture of welcome in Fort Lauderdale and beyond. His unique perspective will further strengthen the Chamber’s support for its members.
 
Gratitude for Current and Outgoing Board Members
 
The GFLGLCC also extends heartfelt thanks to current board member Claudia Castillo, owner of Claudia Castillo Art Studio, for her ongoing leadership and creative vision that enrich the Chamber and local community.
 
A special tribute is reserved for Corinne Slemenda, who will be stepping down from the board after years of dedicated service. Corinne’s unwavering commitment and leadership have been instrumental in the Chamber’s growth and success. The board, staff, and membership are deeply grateful for her lasting legacy.
